WhatsApp group links: everything you need to know
WhatsApp groups are one of the easiest ways to find people who share your interests: job seekers in your city, students preparing for the same exam, small-business owners, sports fans or people who speak your language. The hard part is finding groups that are active, relevant and still accepting members. That’s what this directory of WhatsApp group links is for.
What is a WhatsApp group link?
A WhatsApp group link is an invitation URL that begins with chat.whatsapp.com. Group admins create it
from the group settings so new people can join without being added by phone number. Opening the link shows the
group’s name and photo, and one tap lets you join or request to join.
How to join a WhatsApp group using a link
- Browse the categories above or search for a topic, city or profession.
- Open a collection and check its last verified date so you know the list is fresh.
- Tap Join next to a group. The invite opens directly in WhatsApp.
- Tap Join group in WhatsApp. Some groups need an admin to approve you first.
- Read the group description and rules before you post anything.
How we keep these WhatsApp group links working
Invite links break all the time: admins reset them, groups fill up at 1,024 members, or groups are deleted. We review every collection on a rolling basis, replace links that stop working, and show the review date on every page. Currently the directory lists 1,161 active links in 21 collections, and 103 were added in the last 30 days. Spotted a dead link? Report it and we’ll fix it.
Choosing the right group
Look for groups with a clear topic, a sensible number of members and a description that explains the rules. Well-run groups tend to have active admins who remove spam. If a group asks for money to join, promises guaranteed jobs or profits, or floods you with links, leave it. Legitimate WhatsApp groups are free.
